Industry Placement Coordinator • Salary: £27,586 Actual • Hours: 37 hours per week / 52 weeks per year • Working pattern: Monday - Friday • Location: Newbury College Campus • Closing date: 6th July 2026 • Start date: 24th August 2026 Are you ready to connect students with real-world opportunities and build powerful employer partnerships? We are excited to offer this opportunity for a passionate, organised, and proactive Industry Placement Coordinator to join our team. In this role you will: Build strong relationships with employers, ensuring placements are safe, compliant and meaningful Work with curriculum teams to source high-quality placement opportunities aligned to student needs Carry out employer checks, due diligence and risk assessments Monitor student progress through regular workplace visits and reviews Develop new employer partnerships to expand placement opportunities Support students to prepare for and succeed in the workplace, including those with additional needs Maintain accurate records to meet audit, funding and compliance requirements Support learner progression into apprenticeships, further study or employment What you will bring to the role: Experience in a customer-facing role, with the ability to build positive relationships. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of individuals involved in work placements. A strong understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
