We’re on the lookout for a full-time or part -time Vet to join our friendly team here at Vets for Pets Perth. You’ll work in our modern, well-equipped practice in the heart of beautiful Perthshire, surrounded by historic landscapes, great transport links, and just a short trip from Dundee, Edinburgh, and the Cairngorms (hello, weekend adventures!).
As a locally owned Joint Venture Partner (JVP) practice, we have the freedom to shape our own culture, and we’ve chosen kindness, support, and clinical excellence. Our loyal clients bring us a varied caseload, and our practice is well equipped with all the essentials: multiparameter monitor, digital X-ray, in-house lab, ultrasound, drip pumps, separate dog/cat/isolation wards, and a designated theatre.
You’ll be joining two experienced vets, an amazing nursing team (including a full-time Head RVN, two more full-time RVNs and a part-time qualified VCA), plus our fantastic Client Care Advisors and lovely Practice Manager. We also have a great relationship with our Business Development Partner (BDM) and Veterinary Development Manager (VDM), who are always on hand for support and guidance.
We’d love to find someone with 2+ years’ experience who enjoys first opinion practice, values a high standard of compassionate care, and communicates with warmth and clarity. If you love being part of a team and building strong client relationships, then we want to hear from you.
The Role
9. Ideally 4 days per week (8:30am–7:00pm) with 3 days off ( part time will be considered)
10. Protected lunch break
11. No weekends (unless covering sickness or holidays)
12. No OOHs (Vets Now Dundee have that covered)
13. 100% small animal, with some exotics
14. First opinion consults, medicine, and surgery
15. Dedicated admin time for calls, labs, and sanity!
