About You
As a Kitchen Assistant, you will help prepare and serve nutritious meals, maintain cleanliness, and ensure food safety. You will also assist with stock management and equipment use, always prioritizing Resident wellbeing.
We prefer candidates with kitchen experience, but we will consider those with an NVQ2 in Catering or Food Preparation or willingness to study for one. Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and kindness in communication are essential.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to report concerns. Attendance at safeguarding training is required, along with ongoing development in related areas.
