Overview
An Assistant Restaurant Manager is required for this stunning country house hotel situated within beautiful surroundings in North Yorkshire.
The historic building has a 2AA Rosette award-winning restaurant and is traditionally designed with cosy soft furnishings and roaring fires, creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere for all guests.
This role requires candidates to have a valid UK work visa or settled status – no sponsorship is provided.

Responsibilities
* Report directly to the Restaurant Manager and run the restaurant in their absence
* Have a friendly, yet professional persona
* Have experience of working within an establishment that focuses on fresh food
* Be a strong team player and lead by example to ensure high standards filter through the team
* Have a passion for food, lots of flair, and be able to deal with day-to-day issues regarding front of house and back of house operations
* Have a passion to help drive the business forward from the forefront
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience in hospitality, preferably in a front-of-house leadership role
* Ability to manage in a busy environment and maintain high standards
* Strong communication and leadership skills
Additional Information
The Restaurant serves up to 70 covers per service and uses local produce with a modern British menu. The menu changes seasonally to ensure the fullest flavours.
