Resource Base Class Teacher
1. Permanent Contract
2. 32.5 Hours per week (full time)
3. Salary: Main Pay Scale 1 - 6 + SEN Allowance 1
4. £32,916 - £45, 352 FTE per annum, plus SEN allowance of £2787 per annum
We are looking for a highly organised and well-motivated teacher to teach in our Resource Base
St Nicholas Church School is looking for a teacher who:
5. Has a passion for education and is willing to challenge themselves to become an excellent practitioner;
6. Has a good understanding of supporting children with a range of SEND needs, and the capability to support a diverse range of needs effectively within the classroom;
7. Has an understanding of trauma informed approaches, and is able to support children with social and emotional learning as part of the daily curriculum;
8. Has experience and understanding of the EYFS curriculum and areas of learning (or willing to learn), with experience of planning and delivering effective continuous provision;
9. Has strong communication skills, and is able to liaise with families and professionals about the young people they are working with;
10. Has an understanding of supporting pupils with EHCPs as part of an annual cycle, including leading annual review meetings (desirable but not essential);
11. Has high expectations and works to ensure that all children can succeed in their learning;
12. Has a good understanding of effective teaching practices and is prepared to reflect and develop;
13. Enjoys taking an active role as part of the whole school and community;
14. Has a great sense of humour!
