Care Assistant – Make a Real Difference in Newport
Location: Newport & Surrounding Areas (including Chepstow, Caldicot & Cwmbran)
Hours: Full-time / Part-time / Flexible shifts available
Pay: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour
Must be available to work every other weekend.

What You’ll Be Doing
As a Care Assistant, you’ll make a genuine impact in people’s lives by helping them stay safe, confident, and independent in the comfort of their own homes.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting with washing, dressing, and personal care in a respectful, dignified way
* Supporting mobility and using equipment such as hoists or walking aids
* Preparing meals and snacks that meet dietary needs and preferences
* Helping with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and tidying
* Offering companionship, emotional reassurance, and friendly conversation
* Communicating with the office and care team to ensure excellent, consistent support
