Job Description
The Financial Controller will be responsible for:
3. Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
4. Lead the preparation of financial statements and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
5. Manage cash flow, financial risks, and investment strategies for the business.
6. Collaborate with senior management to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
7. Ensure the accuracy of financial data and maintain robust internal controls.
8. Supervise and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
9. Coordinate with external auditors and manage year-end audits.
10. Drive process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and performance.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Controller should have:
11. A strong background in accounting and finance within the leisure, travel & tourism industry.
12. Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
13. Proven ability to develop and manage financial strategies effectively.
14. Experience in leading finance teams and delivering complex financial projects.
15. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
16. Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
17. Strong communication skills to liaise with stakeholders at all levels
