We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support the smooth operation of our production machinery, including pressure vessels, transfer presses, and loading equipment. Key Responsibilities
As a Production Machines – Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs on a variety of machines to ensure they operate efficiently and safely. You will set, program, and load machines, particularly transfer presses, (no CNC machines) while also conducting routine and preventative maintenance, as well as cleaning tasks to keep equipment in top condition.
You will play an important role in assisting with tooling setups, applying your knowledge of how tools interact with machines to support accurate and reliable production. In addition, you will work closely with the production teams to troubleshoot problems, minimize downtime, and improve overall efficiency. Finally, you will be expected to maintain accurate maintenance records, follow company processes, and always adhere to health and safety standards.
Requirements
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in repair, fault-finding, setting, programming, or a similar engineering role
* Hands-on experience with transfer presses is highly beneficial
* Strong mechanical aptitude and proven fault-finding skills
* Ability to set, program, and operate machinery - no CNC
* Understanding of tooling and its role in production
* Maintenance Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification (desirable)
* Must have access to own transport due to location (East of Lincoln City Centre)
* Genuine interest in machine maintenance and continuous improvement

* Working hours: The standard shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. A PM shift (4:00pm – 12:00am, paid break included) may be required during busy production periods, and you must be able to work both shifts.
