Right now, we are looking for an enthusiastic OccupationalTherapist to join the Allied Health team at Timaru hospital. This team includesOccupational Therapy, Dietetics, Orthotics Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, Radiology,Speech and Language Therapy, Social Work, Orthotics, Clinical Psychology andAudiology.
This role is supported by the clinical leader forOccupational Therapy and
works with a supportive multi-disciplinary team toprovide Occupational Therapy assessments and a variety of interventions inorder to promote patient independence.This is ageneralist role that works across the service.
The ideal candidate willhave:
* A Bachelorof Health Science
* A CurrentPractising Certificate
* ExcellentInterpersonal/Communication Skills
(including assertiveness, diplomacy, and sensitivity)
* Enable NZAssessor Accreditation
