An R&D Manager is needed to oversee the daily operations of a team of scientists conducting physical and analytical testing, including GC FID, GC MS, HPLC - UV vis/ CAD, and Karl Fisher, supporting R&D projects. The team develops and validates test methods for new product development and supports other business areas with non-routine testing.
What will this role involve?
* Managing, motivating, and developing the R&D team.
* Developing, validating, and performing physical and analytical tests aligned with business needs and objectives within time and budget constraints.
* Setting clear objectives for the R&D team to meet company goals.
* Ensuring ongoing compliance of R&D activities with regulatory standards and company policies.
* Maintaining safety practices and GMP/GLP compliance in facilities.
* Ensuring validation of all developed methods.
* Originating R&D documentation such as protocols and reports.
* Reviewing and approving team-generated documents.
* Generating monthly project, resource, and budget reports.
* Keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues.
* Supporting other departments with R&D expertise, stability, CAPA, and audits.
* Analyzing and mitigating project risks, establishing contingency plans, and managing corrective actions.
