M&E Project ManagerNewcastle£50,000 to £65,000 + Benefits + Career ProgressionJoin a fast-growing, national engineering contractor delivering high-quality Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) services across complex construction and refurbishment projects. We're actively recruiting an experienced M&E Project Manager to play a pivotal role in delivering engineering excellence from concept to completion.The RoleAs the M&E Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading the full lifecycle of mechanical and electrical building services projects. From technical design and planning to installation and handover, you'll work closely with clients, engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage M&E projects from pre-construction through to handoverCommission, organise, and assess the work of subcontractors and delivery teamsDevelop and negotiate contracts with clients and stakeholdersProduce and review technical plans and CAD drawingsUtilise and develop Building Information Modelling (BIM) to coordinate complex systemsMonitor and control budgets using life cycle costing techniquesEnsure compliance with all regulatory, health & safety, and environmental standardsLiaise with internal teams and external professionals throughout all project stagesAdvise on energy efficiency and sustainability to reduce project carbon footprintsThe CandidateWe are seeking a highly competent and qualified Project Manager with strong experience in M&E services within the construction or refurbishment sectors.Key Skills & Experience:Proven track record managing mechanical and electrical projectsHNC, Degree, or equivalent in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services EngineeringStrong leadership, communication, and coordination skillsProficient in CAD, project planning tools, and ideally BIMStrong commercial awareness and budget management capabilitiesAbility to manage stakeholders and deliver under pressureWilling to travel nationwide as projects requireThe BenefitsSalary up to £65,000Travel and accommodation support for national project workWork with cutting-edge technologies and systemsCareer development opportunitiesExciting, high-value engineering projectsTPBN1_UKTJ
