Our public sector client are looking for a Senior Business Support Assistant to join them. This post sits within the Secretariats team so they would be particularly interested in someone who has previous Secretariat or Personal Assistant experience please. The roles main focus is on supporting the Directors and Heads of Service for the Children & Family Services department, so someone who demonstrates professional standards and meets the following requirements would be preferable: * Diary Management - Make diary appointments and arrange appointments and meetings for managers and manage daily routine inboxes for senior management staff * Facilitating, arranging and minuting Meetings - Be responsible for the planning and organisation of meetings, including the preparation of all relevant materials and documentation. When required take accurate minutes and produce post-meeting documentation and support * Ability to liaise with external agencies - To be first point of contact for enquiries from MPs, schools, partners, voluntary and community organisations, agencies and members of the public, including generic inbox management on a daily basis * To be responsible for providing a comprehensive range of business support services both administrative and secretarial functions for senior management, utilising good organisational skills to co-ordinate local and statutory requirements * To support the administration of complex databases ensuring all necessary updating systems are in place, accurate and to ensure effective systems are maintained to allow the supply of information for auditing purposes – allowing the information to be analysed efficiently and effectively across service areas * Receive and deal with emails, telephone calls as well as ensuring that visitors to the section are dealt with appropriately * To develop and compile reports, integrate and produce statistical analysis for Management and Senior Management and Freedom of Information enquiries The role is full time – 37 hours per week Monday to Friday and would be a hybrid role with the expectation that the successful candidate spends 2 days in the office (County Hall, Glenfield) and 3 days working from home
