A welcoming and supportive school in Angmering is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team. The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the school, working closely with teachers to help deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support where needed.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom
Providing one-to-one or small-group support
Helping pupils stay focused, motivated and engaged
Assisting with behaviour regulation and positive routines
Contributing to a safe, structured and inclusive learning environment
Working collaboratively with teachers and support staff
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable)
A positive, patient and proactive approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to build supportive relationships with pupils
Willingness to learn and take direction from teaching staff
A background in SEN support is beneficial but not essential.
