JOB DESCRIPTION This role resides within the Business Design & Consulting function within the Business Change team. The Business change team is responsible for LGIM's change portfolio and the Core Business Analysis team is responsible for helping to navigate business change through the change framework, influencing and helping to direct solutions and design through the lifecycle of the projects. This role requires a Hybrid Project Manager / Business Analyst with proven experience working on ESG initiatives within the Asset Management industry. Wider regulatory experience is desired but not essential. The candidate should be capable of independently managing the delivery of a project or workstream within a larger programme whilst also undertaking business analysis activities. This includes ensuring the committed project scope is delivered, benefits are enabled, change management standards are adhered to and achieved within the allocated budget. At this level the candidate is fully experienced and competent in all aspects of business analysis and project management and is proficient in the use of recognised techniques, tools and deliverables. We are looking for candidates who can see the bigger picture and can act as expert counsel to align Business Change ideas to Operating Model, Architecture and Strategic themes, as well as coaching, mentoring, and guiding other analysts. The candidate will be self-starting and inquisitive, comfortable working in complex delivery environments, with multiple stakeholders. Excellent communications skills are a pre-requisite. CANDIDATE SUMMARY The candidate should be able to demonstrate the required experience:- Proven experience as a Business Analyst within ESG domain. Strong understanding of ESG frameworks and reporting standards. Proven experience managing cross-functional initiatives and a portfolio of projects with interdependencies. Strong stakeholder management. Demonstrated ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills and ability to illicit requirements and work with data and solution architects to agree on pragmatic solutions. Worked across the whole project life cycle, has visibility and appreciation of all aspects of a project. Experience of waterfall, agile and lean delivery approaches. Experience of delivering cost / benefit analysis and triaging requests for work. Experience in project management and demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate, and deliver projects. Excellent understanding of Asset Management products and processes. QUALIFICATIONS Degree level of education preferred. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Identify key stakeholders and establish and maintain strong working relationships with them. 2. Work with SMEs to identify and document requirements. Engage with other parties to prepare business cases according to Asset Management specifications. Define the end-state operating model. Define and establish a proportionate governance and delivery structure for projects, including SteerCo and Working Group/s, and the associated membership and terms of reference. Create, maintain, and adjust project plans that outline the key activities, dates, participants, owners and dependencies, and ensure this plan is communicated and used as a basis for delivery. Ensure delivery remains on track to deliver expected outcomes and benefits. Ensure the key risks and issues are identified, centrally captured, actively managed / remediated, and escalated to appropriate governance forums Act as the initial point of contact for queries regarding the project, and co-ordinating resolution for issues during the lifetime of the project Ensuring the key project stakeholders are kept appraised of the status of the project both through formal project status reports, Steering Committees and informal communications as required. Apply a cost & benefit conscious mindset, monitor and control spend vs allocated budget, ensure resource plans are up to date, add and maintain benefits in JIRA, ensure formal change requests are raised if project scope is requested to vary from the business case. Close-down projects in a controlled manner, including ensuring completion of documented hand-over to BaU, post implementation reviews, and lessons learned. Provide coaching and mentorship, including guidance to lesser experience members of the team to enable them to become more proficient in their job and progress.
