They are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to support daily finance operations within a collaborative, international team, offering diverse responsibilities and global business exposure. Job Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline Progress toward professional qualifications such as AAT Level 3 or 4, or early-stage ACCA/CIMA, with a demonstrated commitment to ongoing study 6 to 18 months of hands-on experience in a finance role, gained through internships, placements, or entry-level positions Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as VLOOKUP and pivot tables, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems Strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving capabilities, and excellent organisational skills Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal Job Responsibilities: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including supplier setup, weekly payment runs, and invoice generation Conduct bank reconciliations and cashbook postings, resolving outstanding items efficiently Prepare month-end journal entries for accruals and prepayments, and maintain the fixed asset register Support VAT submissions, basic tax reporting, and preparation of audit documentation Assist in the production of management accounts, performance dashboards, and variance analysis reports Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities through data gathering and workbook maintenance Oversee the finance inbox, ensuring timely and accurate responses to internal queries Participate in initiatives to enhance internal controls and support small-scale automation projects Referrals If you know anyone who may be suitable for the above role, feel free to get in contact with the Mandarin Recruitment team.
