Band 5 Registered Nurse – Ambulatory Emergency Care Unit
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated Band 5 Adult Registered Nurse to join our medical SDEC. If you have experience in acute medical care or emergency services and thrive in a fast‑paced environment, this could be the perfect role for you.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop key skills, including triaging, history taking, physical assessment, and performing same‑day emergency procedures for a diverse range of medical patients.
As part of our multidisciplinary team—including nurses, doctors, advanced nurse practitioners, medical technical assistants, and emergency healthcare assistants—you will play a vital role in providing timely assessments and management for acute medical patients. Our unit receives direct referrals from GPs, the Local Ambulance Service, and the Emergency Department, ensuring efficient patient pathways and helping to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.
Shifts: Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM; Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM.
