Our Team: How we enrich everyday life

The Talent Acquisition team plays a critical role in enabling Bauer Media Group’s success by securing the best talent across all areas of the business in all markets. We partner strategically with leaders to deliver a recruitment process that is efficient, transparent, and aligned with Bauer’s values. Our focus extends beyond filling positions—we build long-term talent pipelines, strengthen employer branding, and ensure an exceptional candidate experience. Through data-driven insights and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, we help shape a workforce that drives innovation and growth.

The Difference you will make

You will manage a team of Talent Acquisition Partners across the UK and EU while maintaining your own small portfolio of complex hires. You'll be the vital link between our TA Partners and senior leadership within the LOB - translating strategy into execution while developing your team's capabilities.

You will actively work on a small portfolio of mid-to-senior level searches across the Audio business, bringing deep recruiting expertise to challenging roles. Simultaneously, you'll coach talent acquisition partners at different experience levels, helping them elevate their impact and grow their skills.

Beyond day-to-day delivery, you'll support strategic talent projects that drive change across the business. This requires genuinely understanding the opportunities and challenges facing Audio today - from digital transformation to evolving business models and processes - so you can be a credible partner in shaping our talent strategy and organisational capability.

This role offers genuine leadership development for someone ready to step up. You'll gain exposure to strategic workforce planning, contribute to operational decisions, and shape how we attract talent across the region.

Your role:

Full-Cycle Recruitment & Delivery

1. Own end-to-end recruitment for complex mid-to-senior roles across Audio, delivering ~2 high-quality hires monthly while maintaining strong pipelines and competitive time-to-fill
2. Drive proactive sourcing, lead consultative stakeholder conversations, and navigate offer negotiations balancing candidate and business needs
3. Champion exceptional candidate experience that strengthens our employer brand at every touchpoint

Team Leadership & Development

4. Coach and develop Talent Acquisition Partners across UK/EU, elevating their sourcing capabilities, stakeholder influence, and closing skills
5. Provide hands-on guidance on complex searches and act as first point of escalation for recruitment challenges
6. Conduct regular 1:1s and performance reviews, setting clear development goals and addressing performance issues promptly
7. Support onboarding of new TA team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Stakeholder Engagement & Talent Advisory

8. Build strong relationships with hiring managers, HR BPs, candidates, and external partners to act as trusted talent advisor
9. Shape role requirements and influence hiring decisions through market intelligence and competitive insights
10. Partner with TA Operations to manage PSL agency relationships, monitoring performance and ensuring quality delivery
11. Champion structured, inclusive hiring practices using data and insights to build credibility with senior stakeholders

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

12. Set and monitor DEI hiring goals with the Senior TA Manager, tracking progress across all recruitment activity
13. Embed inclusive practices throughout the recruitment lifecycle—from job descriptions to decision-making frameworks
14. Analysis of diversity metrics to identify improvement opportunities and partner with external organizations to expand underrepresented talent pools

Data & Insights

15. Own recruitment metrics (pipeline health, time-to-fill, offer acceptance, quality of hire, diversity data) and provide weekly reporting with strategic recommendations
16. Use data to identify bottlenecks, predict challenges, and proactively adjust strategies
17. Present quarterly updates to stakeholders, translating metrics into actionable insights

Process Innovation & Continuous Improvement

18. Identify friction points in the recruitment lifecycle and partner with TA Operations to implement solutions that improve efficiency and experience
19. Build best-in-class TA tools, templates, and playbooks that standardize excellence across markets
20. Lead regional talent acquisition projects including training initiatives, sourcing pilots, and process redesigns
21. Train managers on interviewing and onboarding processes

The Skills you will bring:

22. Proven experience delivering full-cycle recruitment for complex mid-to-senior roles, with consistent hiring outcomes and strong pipeline management.
23. Strong sourcing capability combined with the ability to influence stakeholders and lead consultative hiring discussions
24. Demonstrated experience coaching and developing TA professionals, improving team performance and capability
