An established and growing international organisation within the Healthcare/Medical sector is looking to hire a Junior Bid Writer / Bid Coordinator to join its commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised administrator or coordinator looking to step into a more commercial, writing-focused role with clear career progression.
You’ll be joining a supportive team where you’ll receive training and development to build a long-term career in bid writing and commercial strategy.
The Role
You will support the preparation and coordination of bids and tenders, helping to produce high-quality submissions that win new business. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys writing, organisation, and working to deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting with the preparation of bid and tender documents.
* Writing and editing clear, structured content (with training provided)
* Coordinating information from internal teams (sales, technical, operations)
* Tracking tender opportunities and maintaining submission timelines
* Ensuring documents are accurate, compliant, and professionally presented
* Supporting the maintenance of a bid content library
* Providing general administrative support to the commercial team
What We’re Looking For
* Previous experience in an administrative, coordination, or support role
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Excellent written English and attention to detail
* Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* A proactive, reliable, and team oriented approach
* Interest in developing a career in bid writing or commercial roles
Desirable (but not essential)
* Any exposure to bids, tenders, or proposals
* Experience within healthcare, public sector, or regulated environments
* Degree or relevant qualification.
