We’re now looking for an experienced Glazier to join our growing team, working in a busy repair’s environment across residential properties.
Role Responsibilities
Replacing broken or damaged glass units in windows and doorsInstalling and repairing UPVC, and timber aluminium windows, doors, and framesDiagnosing faults and recommending appropriate repair solutionsEnsuring all work meets safety, quality, and compliance standardsWorking in both occupied and void propertiesUsing handheld devices (PDA) to log work and update job statusLiaising with tenants and colleagues to deliver excellent customer serviceMaintaining tools, equipment, and company vehicle to a high standardSupporting other trades and contributing to a positive team environmentRole Criteria
Proven experience in glazing and UPVC, and timber aluminium repairsExperience in the above dutiesMust be competent with all aspects of glazing and UPVC timber aluminium works including installing/replacing hinges, handles, restrictors, locks and sliding gearMust have experience of and be able to undertake changing of UPVC trims, sills and renewing of double-glazed unitsYou must be able to measure glass and doors and confidently order materials with our suppliersMust be familiar with composite doorsAbility to work independently and manage your own workloadStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityGood communication skills - verbal and writtenBasic IT literacy for logging and reporting tasksFull UK driving licenceBenefits
