Overview
Band 6 clinical lead with relevant post registration experience to join the Cardiac Care Unit at the Royal Lancaster Infirmary. The Cardiac Care Unit cares for patients with a variety of acute cardiac conditions, including Non-Invasive ventilation such as CPAP and High Flow Nasal Oxygen. The unit has the ability to perform procedures such as insertion of temporary pacing wires, trans-oesophageal echocardiography, pericardiocentesis and cardioversion.

About Us
We operate from three main hospitals – Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, plus community premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, and Ulverston Community Health Centre. The group provides a range of services including Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units, outpatients, diagnostics, therapies, day-case and inpatient surgery, and local outreach services across Morecambe Bay.
