Are you considering a career in Teaching? Do you want to play your part in transforming lives through education? Would you like to work in an environment where no two days are ever the same?
If you have experience of working with young people, we would welcome your application as part of our dedicated in-house Cover Supervision team. This could be an ideal start for a graduate looking to gain classroom experience, or for someone with TA or Education Support experience looking to further develop their career in Education by supervising lessons on a daily basis across all subject areas.
Withernsea High School is an integral part of the local community. By broadening the horizons of our students through an excellent and relevant education we strive to prepare them for exciting and varied futures where they can thrive as respectful and responsible people.
To help us realise our ambitions we seek applications for Cover Supervisors who seek to understand our young people and the community we serve. You will supervise pupils in the absence of teaching staff. You will build relationships across all age ranges, getting the opportunity to take responsibility for classes across the full curriculum. Previous experience of working with young people aged 11-16 is essential. Full training and support will be provided.
Hours: 32.5 per week, 8.20am - 3.15pm, with 25 minute break, Monday to Friday, term-time only. We will be happy to consider flexible working requests within this role.
If you would like an information discussion regarding this role, please contact Mr Crofts, Headteacher, or email burtonk@wscampus.net
The successful candidate will be expected to work some break and lunchtime duties as required, as part of these contractual hours.
Online applications close on 15 June. Applications will be received at the school up until 12 noon on 16 June.
