Job Overview
Reporting to the Reactive Services’ Head of Sales, the Reactive Services Business Development Manager will drive sustainable, profitable growth and develop new markets by focusing on 100% new business acquisition in a high-growth market space. The role involves managing contracts valued between £400k - £1m+ across various vertical sectors.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy & Delivery: Lead the strategy and execution for growth in sectors such as Housing Associations, Utilities, and Public sectors.
* New Business Focus: Prioritize acquiring new clients and building long-term relationships.
* Tender Management: Lead high-value tender responses and coordinate internal stakeholders for seamless delivery.
* Sales Process Management: Oversee the entire sales cycle from lead generation to handover to aftercare teams.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work effectively with internal teams and support growth initiatives.
* Cost Modelling: Develop and analyze commercial models using Excel to support proposals.
Qualifications include at least 2 years in a sales role with a track record of securing contracts over £300k, proficiency in Excel, and willingness to travel nationally. The role requires being in Aylesbury at least one day a week.
