Responsibilities
* Produce high quality reports

* Liaise with Field planning team, repairers and customers
* Support other members of the team as and when the need dictates
Qualifications & Knowledge
* Qualified to a minimum of I.A.E.A or ATA (VDA) standard
* Experience leading an engineering function for an insurer or independent firm
* Experience of vehicle estimating systems such as Audatex and Glassmatix (essential)
* AQP qualification preferred
* Inspection scope extends from cars to HGVs, agricultural implements and caravans
* Resolve customer complaints, consistency of damage, diminution in value
* Ensure reporting time‑scales remain within SLA’s
* Structured approach with effective time management, prioritising to meet deadlines
* Good attention to detail, analytical thinker, solution‑focused and strong problem‑solving skills
* Thrives working in a fast‑paced and changing environment using own initiative
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
* Confident negotiator, capable of handling sensitive and confidential material
