Job Summary
Rock Healthcare is seeking an enthusiastic team player to join as a Patient Advisor in our friendly practice. This role involves front-of-house responsibilities at our primary reception, welcoming visitors and managing patient inquiries daily. Providing outstanding service over the phone and in person, addressing concerns, and minimizing complaints are crucial to maintaining high patient satisfaction.
This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, between 08:00 and 18:30.
Main Duties
1. Checking in and registering patients
2. Ordering medications and processing prescriptions
3. Scheduling appointments and coordinating home visits
4. Reception and administrative duties
5. Navigating clinical software systems
Staff are also expected to participate in monthly practice meetings, taking minutes and preparing agendas as needed.

Person Specification
Communication
* Must have excellent telephone and communication skills
* Strong problem-solving skills and ability to de-escalate complaints
* Team player with the ability to work independently
Experience
* At least 1 year experience working in a GP practice or office environment
Qualifications
* GCSEs or equivalent in Mathematics and English
Previous Experience/Training
* Experience handling high call volumes and dealing with varied inquiries
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experience with EMIS and Docman preferred
Interpersonal Skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to meetings
* Willingness to present and take minutes or prepare agendas
