We are looking for a Merchandising Director to join a multichannel apparel and footwear brand. Our client has ambitious growth plans and are looking for a strong leader with multichannel retailing experience who has previously navigated a business or large department through a period of significant growth.
You will be developing and implementing strategies to align with the business objectives. You must be a strong leader who can manage, motivate and lead the merchandising team through the planned growth.
Responsibilities:
* Analyse market trends, consumer data and competitors to identify growth opportunities
* Collaborate with other team in the business to ensure a cohesive and relevant product variety
* Oversee the planning, allocation and replenishment process to optimise inventory and maximise sales
* Take lead in the execution of seasonal launches, promotional events and markdown strategies
* Be able to maintain strong vendor relationships and negotiate terms
It is essential you have a strong analytical ability to be able to use data to drive action within the team.
