Are you passionate about the performing arts, and brilliant, inspirational and energetic enough to instil your passion into the hearts and minds of the young people who attend the Pauline Quirke Academy at Haywards Heath? Yes? Then we'd love to hear from you
We are looking for a teaching assistant to join our amazing team, to work Saturday mornings (with the potential of afternoons) during school terms (41 weeks of the year), to assist with the overall running of the academy and alongside our fantastic teachers to deliver our performing arts classes to children aged 4-5 covering skills in storytelling, acting, singing and dancing.
This is a brilliant opportunity for performing arts, media, dance, drama and film students or graduates looking to apply their knowledge and experience within the professional industry.
Experience working with children and young people would be beneficial, although training will be given. The most important thing is that your passion for the performing arts is underpinned by your warm, nurturing and supportive nature, that will ensure all of our students are able to develop self confidence and new skills whilst making friends and having fun
PQA follows safer recruiting procedures, and an enhanced DBS on the update service will be required and can be arranged. Applicants must also be 18+.
If this opportunity appeals to you, then please send your CV and cover letter detailing your motivation and suitability for the role to Principal Florence at
We look forward to hearing from you
