Overview
Project Lead - Healthcare projects at Mace. We create innovative, practical solutions to meet the challenges of complex healthcare estates to improve patient outcomes. We use modern methods of construction and digital and data to support adaptable, future-proofed estates.
Responsibilities
* Manage large-scale healthcare projects potentially ranging in value from £500 million to £1 billion or more.
* Oversee the development and delivery of project(s), taking an assurance and advisory role working with the relevant trust to influence outcomes to meet programme targets.
* Ensure that benefits and objectives are delivered on behalf of the trust, in line with guidelines and stakeholder expectations.
* Coordinate the interaction and integration of outputs designed to transform healthcare delivery, including liaison and maintaining overall integrity and coherence of the programme and wider portfolios, including digital components.
What you’ll Need To Have
* Knowledge of managing senior stakeholders, setting and managing project governance, planning guidelines and constraints, development guidelines and public sector requirements.
* Demonstrable understanding of sustainability and environmental issues, risk management processes, design process and management of design teams, financial management of projects, procurement routes, current legislation and regulations, contract administration, and experience in the Healthcare sector (ideally within the NHS).
* Effective written, verbal and graphic presentation skills.
* Membership of RICS, CIOB, APM, ICE or equivalent professional or demonstrable development.
* Proven track record of strong commercial awareness and financial expertise.
* Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
