Location: Blantyre Leisure Centre, Glasgow Road, Blantyre

Hours: hours per week

Salary Band: £29,188 - £29,612

Shift Pattern: 3 Week Rota

Week 1: Tuesday 6am - 2:30pm, Wednesday 6am - 3:30pm, Thursday, Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm

Week 2: Monday 6am - 4:15pm, Thursday, Friday 6am - 2:30pm, Sunday 2:30pm - 10pm

Week 3: Monday 2pm - 10:30pm, Tuesday, Wednesday 2:30pm - 10:30pm, Saturday 6:45am - 5:30pm, Sunday 7:45am - 2:45pm

Duration: Fixed Term until 30th September 2026

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the team at Blantyre Leisure Centre as a Senior Recreation Assistant.

Duties will include supervising of pool and dryside activities and assisting the Duty Officer in ensuring a safe environment for the public.

Applicants must hold a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification.

Pool Plant Operators Qualification, First Aid Certificate and NPLQ training assessor are desirable.
