Key Responsibilities: Implement and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and ISO standards. Drive a culture of safety and environmental awareness across all levels of the organization, ensuring a safe working environment. Conduct risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures. Develop and deliver EHS training programs to staff, ensuring understanding and compliance. Manage and report on key EHS metrics, including accident and incident reports, to the General Manager and Human Resources. Liaise with external bodies and contractors, ensuring all EHS practices meet legal and company standards. Oversee waste management and reduction initiatives, contributing to sustainability goals. Requirements: Essential Qualifications: A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English. IOSH/NEBOSH qualification preferred. Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing, engineering, or FMCG environment. Skills: Strong understanding of ISO 14001, environmental management systems, and compliance. Competence in Microsoft Office Suite. Attributes: Highly motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.
