The Strategic Compliance Manager is a new role within DIO in a growing field. We are looking for forward thinking, collaborative and self-motivated Strategic Compliance Managers to join us. The Strategic Compliance Manager will ensure that the Defence Estate meets the required compliance standards, making it safe and fit for purpose. The new roles will be part of the Regional Delivery Team and will be accountable for the overall management and leadership of one of the six strategic compliance areas (Fuels, Fire, Gas, Electrical, Asbestos and Legionella). Taking the lead in carrying out compliance investigations to ensure contractors align with their contractual obligations and are delivering in a consistent manner across the Region. Implement compliance recommendations put forward by the senior customer stakeholders. Lead the provision of the external technical support interface and coordination with partners including Subject Matter Experts. Identify and communicate trends and issues relating to technical matters across all Regional Delivery Supervise Industry Partner performance in line with the contract to ensure that statutory and mandatory requirements are met and collaborate with IP to resolve issues. Work with commercial team members where there is a requirement for a technical input to clarify a contractual scope issue. Portfolio and Issue Management in support of works, in year programmed works and future years programmes. Work as an active member of the team, supervising compliance with MOD and DIO policy, instructions and guidance.
