We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Residential Support Worker who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and young people living in residential care. Our service supports young people with emotional, behavioural and complex needs, providing a safe, nurturing and structured environment where they can develop, achieve and feel valued. As a Senior Residential Support Worker, you will: * Lead, support and mentor a team of Residential Support Workers to deliver high-quality, child-centred care * Act as a positive role model and maintain professional boundaries at all times * Support young people with daily routines, education, emotional regulation and life skills * Help young people understand and exercise their rights, choices and independence * Work in line with care plans, risk assessments and safeguarding procedures * Liaise with external professionals including social workers, schools and health services * Contribute to shift planning, handovers, record-keeping and incident reporting The successful candidate must have: * NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Residential Childcare * Proven experience working with children or young people who display challenging and complex behaviours * A strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection and trauma-informed care * Excellent written and verbal communication ...
