Job Description
We are seeking two Global Payroll Analysts to manage our global payroll operations, working within our Reward team and closely with the People Services team. The People Services team aims to enhance the employee experience by delivering outstanding HR services, supporting our company's mission to help customers achieve scientific breakthroughs faster.
In this role, you will ensure payroll operations comply with SOX procedures, manage global payroll providers, and implement effective provider management practices. You will also coach and mentor the People Services team to ensure payroll entry administration is effectively delivered by HR specialists.
This position supports payroll activities across our locations in the UK, Europe, USA, and APAC.
1. Operate global payroll in accordance with SOX compliant procedures, including review and approval processes.
2. Provide guidance on payroll processes to employees, leaders, and HR teams.
3. Coordinate with internal and external providers, acting as a primary contact for payroll and reward providers, as well as governmental authorities.
4. Prepare payroll summaries, variances, and reconciliation reports for review and approval.
5. Assist with payroll projects related to your primary responsibilities.
6. Map processes, mitigate risks, and develop & maintain SOPs for People Services Operations to meet payroll SOX requirements.
7. Participate in internal and external payroll audits.
Qualifications
You should have a thorough understanding of global payroll processes, providers, and legislation, with experience in both insourced and outsourced solutions. Prior experience processing US payroll, including knowledge of US benefits, tax requirements, and payroll legislation, is essential. Experience with payroll and benefits systems, as well as reporting platforms, is required.
You should have participated in payroll provider reviews and selections. Strong skills in handling complex, confidential, and high-volume data, maintaining data integrity and accuracy, are necessary. Proficiency with HR and payroll systems is also important.
