Overview

Warwickshire’s Separated Children and Leaving Care Team works with care-experienced young people aged 16-25 and separated children in care and care experience. The team is county-wide with offices in the North and the South of the county to enable access for all our young people.


The Team

You’ll be joining a supportive and experienced management team that values collaboration, innovation, and a young person-centred approach. Our team is committed to improving outcomes for care leavers and ensuring they have the tools and support they need to thrive.

Our approach is about locality working, multi-disciplinary and multi-agency teams that support the whole family. Building strong partnerships with local services, Health, Police and Education.

About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated person to join our Leaving Care Service. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who believes that young people leaving care deserve the best possible start in adulthood and are able to adapt their work style to the individual need of each young person.

In this role, you will:

* Working with Young People aged 16-25
* Manage a caseload, and respond to the needs of those Young People on a day to day basis
* Engage in duty for the team, supporting other young people who aren't allocated to you
* Working with the Young People to support and get them ready for independence
