We are proud to deliver Reputable Care, built on Respect and Compassion, through Robust Communication and Real Commitment.
About The Service
Highbury House is a care service located in Stourbridge. We provide person-centred care and rehabilitation for adults with enduring mental health conditions, helping individuals to regain independence, build confidence, and achieve personal goals within a supportive and structured environment.
About the Role
We are looking for a Home Administrator to join the team at Highbury House. This is an important role supporting the Registered Manager and wider team to ensure the smooth running of all administrative functions within the home.
Your day-to-day work will include:
1. Handling phone calls, emails, and visitor enquiries in a professional and friendly manner
2. Maintaining accurate staff and service user records
3. Supporting recruitment processes and staff absence tracking
4. Preparing correspondence, reports, and purchase orders in line with company policy
5. Managing office systems and filing, ensuring compliance with data protection
6. Providing administrative support to the management team and wider staff group
7. Upholding confidentiality and professionalism at all times
You’ll work closely with colleagues to make sure the home runs efficiently, deadlines are met, and information is recorded accurately.
About You
You’ll be an organised, approachable, and reliable individual who takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. You’ll have at least one year of experience in an administrative or office-based role and be confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience working within a care, healthcare, or regulated environment would be an advantage, but full training on internal systems will be provided.
You should have:
8. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
9. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping
10. The ability to manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure
11. A professional, discreet, and respectful approach when handling sensitive information
12. A proactive mindset, always looking for ways to improve efficiency and support the wider team
13. Confidence working independently while being an active and supportive team member
You’ll naturally reflect Rushcliffe’s values in how you work. You treat others with respect and compassion, communicate clearly and professionally, and show real commitment to the people and purpose of the organisation. Above all, you understand that your role plays a vital part in ensuring service users receive the highest standard of care and support.
