Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, well‑organised and motivated podiatrist to join our team. You will be responsible for assessment and planning of individual patient care, working autonomously and as part of the wider team. Excellent communication skills and the ability to apply evidence‑based practice are essential.
Main duties of the job
* Work as an integral member of the podiatry team to deliver quality programmes of podiatric care to patients with assessed need.
* Provide treatment at a variety of sites, including patient homes, clinics, hospitals and other locations, often working in isolation.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and act as a source of advice to patients, carers, GPs and other health‑care professionals.
* Be responsible for the day‑to‑day operational management of a specific clinic location, working as a lone practitioner in some cases.
Person Specification
Qualifications (Desirable)
* Postgraduate education.
Experience (Desirable)
* Experience in domiciliary care provision.
* Experience in the provision of high‑risk treatments and advanced biomechanical assessments.
* Minimum 2 years relevant postgraduate experience.
