Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
* Develop and improve the Health, Safety & Environmental culture across the two North East sites.
* Ensure Company complies to its legal obligations.
* Work with key-stakeholders in helping them understand their role in Health, Safety & Environmental Management.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Develop and maintain a positive Health, Safety & Environmental culture.
2. Conduct investigations into claims working alongside the insurance loss adjusters.
3. Improve and sustain audit performance and ensure NCRs from HSE audits are actioned, recorded, and closed out.
4. Support the CI QA & HSE Manager during Regulatory Inspections and ensure requirements are actioned, recorded, and closed out satisfactorily.
5. Keep up to date on legal, local, and other requirements that may affect the company.
6. Prepare hazard mitigations, develop, and implement risk assessments, COSHH and procedures.
7. Continually reduce accidents and incident rates by pro-active solutions
8. Ensure accidents, incidents and near misses are reported and investigated correctly,
9. Conduct accident reviews and assist with back to work programmes.
10. Collect and Report HSE performance daily, weekly, monthly as required.
