An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 6 Community Occupational Therapist to join our esteemed NHS client’s dynamic team based in Whitby, Yorkshire. This position is available for an immediate start, offering competitive rates.
Key Responsibilities:
The Community Occupational Therapist will work within the community team, providing assessments and interventions to support individuals in their homes and community settings. They will develop and implement personalised care plans, promote independence, and ensure accurate and thorough documentation. The therapist will liaise with other healthcare professionals, provide consultation to the team, and engage in regular supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Full registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
* Proven experience in community occupational therapy.
* Strong skills in assessment, formulation, and intervention planning.
* Excellent communication and documentation skills.
