Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Professionals to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes or at home, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, implementing care plans, and fostering a positive environment for those in your care. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of others.
Duties
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort.
* Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
* Implement care plans tailored to the individual needs of each client.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed.
* Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
* Ensure a clean and safe environment by following health and safety protocols.
Requirements
* Proficiency in English is essential for effective communication with clients and team members.
* Previous experience in home care or a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
* A valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting clients when necessary.
* Familiarity with IT systems for maintaining records and communication is beneficial.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
* A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
* Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately.
