The Role You will join a dedicated team of Support Practitioners providing support to 4 individuals who have learning disabilities and other complex support needs, including physical disabilities. The people we support have many interests such as enjoying new experiences, living life to the full, going on holiday, cooking, socialising and meeting new friends. They will give anything a go including going to concerts, singing along to Abba, and going out for meals. As a Support Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting these individuals with all aspects of daily living. You will take an active role in the planning and delivery of person-centred care and be supportive and encourage the people we support to express their views and wishes. Our aim is to enable the people we support to live a fulfilling and valued life, where they can achieve their own personal goals and aspirations. About You We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need previous experience in care as a Support Worker or qualifications to start your career with us. We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need; We'll even fund your SVQ/SCQF qualifications and your yearly SSSC fee! Shifts typically start at 8am, back shifts finish at 10pm with waking nights usually being from 10pm - 8am and sleepovers which are typically 10am-10pm.
