Ward33 is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker to join our Trauma and Orthopaedic department. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team providing high-quality care to patients undergoing orthopaedic treatments and surgeries.
You will work alongside healthcare professionals such as Orthopaedic surgeons, Orthogeriatric consultants, Physiotherapists, and Advanced Clinical Practitioners. Communication is vital to ensure safe and holistic care. We accept direct admissions from the Emergency Department and repatriations from other hospitals.
The successful candidate will model and uphold the Trust values and behaviors, creating a positive environment for colleagues and patients.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Maintaining high standards of clinical work during tasks
* Keeping up to date with mandatory and role-specific training
* Following Trust values and behaviors
* Ensuring compliance with clinical governance, motivating colleagues, championing service user safety and dignity, and driving continuous improvement
