 
        
        An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and compassionate Regional Manager to oversee a group of high-quality children’s residential homes across the North West.
This role is ideal for a leader who is passionate about making a lasting difference in the lives of children and young people who have experienced trauma and adversity. You will play a key part in shaping services, supporting managers, and ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance across multiple settings.
Key Responsibilities of an OFSTED Registered Manager:
 1. Provide effective leadership and direction to Registered Managers across several children’s homes.
 2. Drive continuous improvement, ensuring services meet or exceed all regulatory standards.
 3. Champion a therapeutic and trauma-informed culture that promotes stability and positive outcomes for children and young people.
 4. Manage budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring financial sustainability.
 5. Build and maintain strong relationships with Local Authorities, regulatory bodies, and partner agencies.
 6. Support the professional development and wellbeing of staff teams.
Key requirements an OFSTED Registered Manager must have:
 7. Minimum of 5 years’ leadership experience within children’s residential care.
 8. Proven track record of managing multiple homes or services.
 9. In-depth understanding of Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
 10. Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
 11. Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
 12. Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children’s and Young People’s Services (or willingness to complete).
 13. Confident in financial management, quality assurance, and performance improvement.
 14. Calm, supportive, and solution-focused approach.
