Remote Account Manager (RAM) – Elanco
Join Elanco, a global leader in animal health, as a Remote Account Manager (RAM) based in the UK. The role is part of a newly formed Inside Sales (RAM) team focused on Pet Health sales and is fully remote.
Overview
As a RAM, you will partner with the Field Sales team to increase customer reach, frequency and value. You will drive sales by demonstrating the value of Elanco products, managing the commercial relationship, and collaborating with Marketing to enhance the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
* Generate demand and conduct remote customer meetings, leveraging marketing programs and value‑add initiatives.
* Utilize Elanco CRM to identify opportunities, maintain up‑to‑date customer data, and report sales activities.
* Engage customers via virtual platforms (MS Teams/Zoom, phone, email) to meet their needs and achieve sales targets.
* Advance the Customer Value Selling (CVS) model, implementing agreed tactics and meeting identified KPIs.
* Collaborate with Field Sales to advance sales cycles, increase penetration of targeted products, and support the omnichannel strategy.
* Support customer events, internal meetings, and after‑sales service as required.
Business Development & Product Knowledge
* Analyze territory data to achieve objectives and support field sales initiatives.
* Maintain comprehensive knowledge of Elanco’s product portfolio and competitive landscape.
* Adhere to all pharmacovigilance, ethics, compliance, and safety policies.
Qualifications (Minimum)
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5+ years sales experience with a tele‑sales component, preferably in animal health.
* Passion for the animal health industry, customer service, and teamwork.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and good IT skills.
* Strong learning agility, organizational ability, and a results‑driven mindset.
Additional Information
* Work from home for extended periods; limited travel may be required.
