Solicitor/ Legal Executive - Clinical Negligence (2+ PQE)

I’m working with a growing claimant Clinical Negligence team that is looking to recruit a Solicitor or Legal Executive (2+ PQE) to join them on a fully remote basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Clinical Negligence fee earner who enjoys running their own files, delivering excellent client care, and developing within a supportive and forward-thinking team environment.
The Role You will manage a varied claimant Clinical Negligence caseload from initial instruction through to settlement, including both pre-action and litigated matters.
Your responsibilities will include:
\t
* Conducting initial consultations and triaging new enquiries
\t
* Advising and supporting clients throughout their claims
\t
* Managing cases end-to-end under the Clinical Negligence Pre-Action Protocol
\t
* Drafting Letters of Claim and analysing Letters of Response
\t
* Preparing witness statements, court documents and instructions to counsel
\t
* Reviewing and analysing medical records and expert evidence
\t
* Preparing detailed chronologies
\t
* Instructing and liaising with medical experts and counsel
\t
* Advising on funding arrangements including CFAs and ATE policies
\t
* Negotiating effectively with defendants and insurers
\t
* Managing litigated matters under the CPR
This role offers genuine autonomy while still providing strong supervision and mentoring where needed.
The Ideal Candidate This role would suit:
\t
* A Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with 2+ PQE in claimant Clinical Negligence
\t
* Someone confident managing their own caseload (with supervision where appropriate)
\t
* Strong drafting and analytical skills
\t
* Solid understanding of the Pre-Action Protocol and CPR
\t
* Excellent client care skills with an empathetic, people-focused approach
\t
* A proactive and organised individual who enjoys working remotely
