Overview
HR Business Partner (12-Month FTC) Bedford is a 12-month fixed-term contract based at Bedford with occasional travel to Milton Keynes. Location: Bedford. Hours: 37.5 per week. Salary: £55,000-65,000 + Benefits. We’re open to flexibility – part-time or flexible working arrangements for the right candidate.
What You’ll Do
* Partner with operational leaders to deliver strategic and hands-on HR support.
* Drive cultural change and embed a coaching-led approach to people management.
* Support workforce planning, succession, and talent pipeline development.
* Lead on employee relations, policy development, and engagement initiatives.
* Champion values and ensure a consistent, human approach to employee relations.
What We Need From You
* Solid HR generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing or operational setting.
* Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
* A confident communicator who can influence, challenge, and coach at all levels.
* CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent) and a passion for continuous professional development.
* A visible, hands-on partner who builds credibility on both the shop floor and in the boardroom.
