The Opportunity
This opportunity has arisen due to continued investment and growth across a large multi?site operation, creating the need for an experienced Site Services Engineer to help elevate engineering standards, enhance compliance, and keep a fast?paced environment running smoothly.

Your duties and responsibilities will be:
* Maintain office, depot, and associated facilities to the highest possible standards, always ensuring safe operation.
* Protect and maintain building infrastructure, fabric, and all ancillary equipment.
* Deliver both planned and reactive maintenance across all site assets.
* Carry out maintenance, repair, and installation work on large industrial ammonia refrigeration plant, ensuring optimal performance and plant availability.
* Maintain accurate documentation to support legal compliance.
* Use the CMMS (Shire) to manage maintenance schedules and activity logs.
* Perform regular mandatory
* Maintain the building management systems with emphasis on trend analysis.
* Manage and replenish engineering stock to minimise disruption and maintain operational efficiency.
* Support installation of new plant and equipment.
* Perform ongoing assessment of plant energy efficiency and performance.
You will have the following qualifications & experience:
* A trade apprenticeship plus a minimum of 5 years’ practical industrial experience
* O.N.C. or City & Guilds Mechanical/Electrical Engineering
* Proven ability in fault finding
* Full clean driving licence
* Knowledge of mechanical & electrical engineering principles
* Understanding of Health & Safety legislation, including:
* Control of Legionnaires’ Disease
* Electricity at Work Act
* Ability to make sound engineering decisions and assess preventative/remedial maintenance
* Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt to your audience
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
It’s great if you also have the following
* C&G 2079 – F Gas and ODS Regulations
* BS EN 378:2008
* Strong mechanical/electrical qualifications
* BS 7671 (17th Edition)
* Counterbalance FLT Licence
* IPAF 3a/3
