Job Title: Fast Fit Centre Manager

Location: Hampshire (Multiple sites)
Salary: £40,000-£50,000 plus bonus and travel
Hours: Full-time / Permanent
Reports To: Regional / Area Manager

Job Purpose

To lead and manage the day-to-day operations of a busy automotive fast fit centre, ensuring exceptional customer service, high-quality workmanship, and strong financial performance. The Centre Manager is responsible for motivating the team, driving sales, maintaining standards, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily running of the fast fit centre, including staffing, workflow, and productivity.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and service advisors to achieve business objectives.
Drive sales of tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, and vehicle servicing.
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high-quality standards.
Deliver outstanding customer service and handle any issues or complaints professionally.
Monitor and achieve financial targets, including sales, profit margins, and cost control.
Maintain stock levels, order parts, and manage supplier relationships effectively.
Oversee health and safety compliance and ensure a clean, safe working environment.
Implement company policies, processes, and promotional campaigns.
Produce accurate reports and communicate centre performance to senior management.

Skills & Experience Required

Proven experience managing a fast fit, automotive service, or workshop environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
Solid understanding of fast fit operations - tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, MOTs, and servicing.
Excellent customer service and sales abilities.
Good business acumen with experience managing budgets and performance KPIs.
Competent IT skills (booking systems, invoicing, and reporting).
Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable

Technical qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
MOT Tester Licence (Class 4).
Experience with hybrid and electric vehicle maintenance.
Previous experience in a branded or national fast fit or Dealership environment.
