Day Support Worker – Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD)

About the Role:

We are currently recruiting Day Support Workers to work in residential settings across Crewe, supporting children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD). This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals by providing care, structure, and emotional support throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide consistent care and supervision during daytime hours
* Support young people with daily routines, activities, and emotional wellbeing
* Promote independence and positive behaviour
* Respond to challenging behaviour with patience and professionalism
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with the wider care team
* Follow individual care plans and safeguarding procedures

Requirements:

1. Experience working with children or young people in EBD or similar settings (preferred)
2. A compassionate, resilient, and proactive approach
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills
