Apple blossoms in Braughing (10 minutes from Buntingford/ware) are looking for a new team member. Ideally qualified with experience in a busy setting (pack away) hours are 7.30-4.30 full time but part time considered. We are admitting children from the age of 18 months now so experience with children this age is ideal. We are looking for a caring, motivated and enthusiastic Early Years Practitioner to join our friendly team. You will play a key role in creating a warm, nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident and excited to learn. Key Responsibilities Build positive, trusting relationships with children and families Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS Observe, assess and record children’s progress Support children’s personal, social and emotional development Work coaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high-quality learning environment Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and welfare procedures are followed at all times We would love to hear from you if you are: Passionate about early years education A team player with strong communication skills Warm, patient and committed to supporting every child’s individual needs Organised, proactive and able to use your initiative Essential: Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (or working towards) Desirable: Paediatric First Aid/safeguarding Experience working in a nursery or early years setting with young children Why Join Us?
