We're recruiting experienced, dedicated, compassionate, caring and flexible complex care Personal Assistants/Carers.
You'll be joining our small, skilled team to provide care to our teenage daughter. You will support her at home, to access school, activities, holidays abroad and much more.
She is a bright, determined and able young person who is living with a medical condition that requires close monitoring but minimal intervention. She is active, funny and lives life to the full.
Joining our team also provides the exciting opportunity to learn and gain qualifications in British Sign Language as our daughter is a Deaf British Sign Language user.
Experience of working in a similar role is essential. We provide full person-centred clinical training and supervision (paid) specific to our daughters needs.
We are looking for people who have excellent communication skills and can work effectively and fairly within in a team 2:1 as well being confident working 1:1. You need to be flexible, reliable and willing to travel and stay away from home.
Tasks include but not limited to;
* Gastrostomy
* Medication Management
* Nebuliser, ventilation, Oxygen/Saturation Monitoring
* Tracheostomy care
* No hoisting/lifting
* Minimal personal care

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS -
* Staff must work days and waking nights.
* You must be a driver over the age of 25 with own car to get to work and clean driving licence to drive our daughters car.
* Non smoker/Vaper
