SEN Teaching Assistant (TA)
Salary:
£83 - £95 per day
Job Duties:
* Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) in their learning and development
* Assisting the class teacher in planning and implementing individual education plans
* Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN
* Helping students with personal care needs, including toileting and feeding where necessary
* Assisting in the management of behaviour and social interaction within the classroom
Skills and Experience:
* Ability to provide individualised support to students
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Patience and empathy towards students with SEN
* Experience working with children with SEN - preferred
* Understanding of special educational needs and different learning styles - preferred
* Additional training in areas such as Makaton or behaviour management - advantageous
Working Conditions:
* Working hours: Monday to Friday
* Work primarily within a classroom setting
* May involve assisting with personal care needs of students
* Collaboration with teachers and other support staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
